Whether human activities do harm to the earth or make it a better place to live depends the stages of human development stage.

At the very beginning of human history, our ancestor learned to make easy tools for gathering and hunting wild animals, and gradually they settled down living in villages to grow plants. Following this kind of human activity comes the development of agriculture and the beginning of human society civilization. Then, in The Industrial Age, the creation of automobiles, the great transport vehicle, greatly help improve people’s life. People could travel far-away places to see different culture and customs. Also with the help of cars, more fresh fruits and vegetables from far rural places appear on the market, and then there comes the competition which encourage the development of market economy.

Besides, advanced writing tools like pencil help people record information more easily. The public media, naming broadcast, spread news all over the country help broaden people’s horizon and shorten the distance between rural and urban areas.

However, when the clock role into the recent 20^th centrury. It is hard to say whether people’s activity do good or hard to our world. In  accordance with the fast pace of industrial development, human beings also hasten the speed of exploring nature resources, name cal, oil and gases .As a result, pollution comes up. People tends to dump waste materials from human activity into rivers and streams because the waste seems to disappear downstream. And when this waste deposit downstream, it seriously pollute the water making it undrinkable and unusable for agriculture, and kill the plant and animals in water and even hazard people’s health downstream. What’s worse, increasingly the waste gases from abundant cars, especially the over-growing numbers of private cars, seriously pollute the air, making the air much less healthy to breathe .And Carbon dioxide released from the gas-powered automobiles causes global warming. It is reported that the average temperature of the earth is rising .Scientists believe that if human’s activity continue in a disturbing degree they will cause the rise of average see level.  

So if our human beings don’t control our behaviors, and continue explore natural recourses with no limitation, ignoring the natural principle, thus the earth will not be suitable for human beings.

In conclusion whether human’ behavior do good or harm to our earth depends on our way getting along with the nature.
