這兩個題，很相似，頭一個答案是1第二個也是1，頭一個句子的that 從句修飾的是整個folkways and a life-style，第二個題目里that從句修飾的是什麽呢？是two fans and a duct 還是只修飾a duct，爲什麽不能改寫成carrying ?

第二题的that carried修饰two fans and a duct, 而不是a duct自己. 这里为了保证修饰两个, 必须用that 从句, 用carrying就只能修饰duct了尤其象E的用法, 还在and前面加逗号, 就更加毫无疑问的保证了carrying修饰duct. 但是这句话的意思是说"两个风扇+一个管道共同将热量从...传递到...", 所以,必须两个一同修饰!
