[原创]诚恳请教！GPA分数低的问题（附个人情况）

各位朋友

最近本人开始准备GMAT准备申请北美的金融类MBA 

但是一致有一个担忧 ，自己在大学时候的成绩不好  (主要原因是不感兴趣），成绩基本都是6，70分

----------希望各位根据自己的经验提提GPA对本人申请影响的看法

            （因为牛人很多，GMAT 在校成绩 工作经历都不错  是不是比较好的学校机会比较小了）

---------申请金融类MBA很看重大学专业和金融行业工作经历么

一下是本人一些情况 ：

大学时候除了混，作了2件事情 

大四上出了一本软件教程（关于macromedia Falsh的）当时Flash刚开始流行 后来被省级报纸电视台报道过 说是该省第一个大学生出此类书籍

还有就是举办过一次讲座（关于Internet，也是那时候刚开始普及) ，比较成功

此后在500强通讯公司 在东南亚 独联体 亚太区域工作过，获得过04年公司亚太区销售奖 并在2个国家签过2个单，为公司实现了在该国市场的第一单 将近7年工作经历 6年海外销售 1年采购

恕我直说，tsinghua的学生写软件教程，基本每个宿舍都有人写。当年。。。。还要看看学校，然后机会总是有的，只是奖学金机会小而已。

如上所说如果你是 清华 北大 这种学校出来的话，然后T考的很高，能弥补些你的GPA

大学的事迹就算了吧，工作都7年了，那些事当作回忆就好。

你现在到了什么职位啊，职位还是能说明一些问题的

没有金融经验，可能就要考考CFA啥的，补充点知识

是的 我写大学是事情主要就是看看能不能弥补当时分数不高的事情 担忧的主要是大学成绩 

具体以后的当然还是看工作情况  这方面不是重点

1. I personally don't think trying to explain is a good idea except your reason is as strong as to work full day to pay for the tuition etc. GPA is only one factor of your whole application package which now you have no chance to fix. What you can do now is to prove you have the acdamic ability to thrive in bschools through other parts of your application such as gmat and essays.

2. You don't need to enter a bank/hedge fund/asset management company etc. before applying to bschools. If your post mba career goal is about financial service, just present a strong argument that you have that potential which correlates with your skills gaining from your past experiences.

yep. but i wonder whether it will be better to enter a bank/hedge fund/asset management company before applying to b-schools, if his goal is financial field after MBA.

如果一个没经验的人能进 hedge fund/asset management 的话，很多人就不会去读MBA渴望转行了

对啊。入学前，转行的确很困难。

但若在工作过程中，考下cfa之类的，是不是意味着有希望在申请前去尝试一下finance的工作呢？我说的只是一些普通的工作。

另外，听说考下ACCA，就可以去做财务之类的工作，是吗？

CFA 顺利考下来 要三年， 再去金融机构干几年，对于申请的时间成本太高

acca是可以去做财务工作， 金融和会计还是有区别的，金融对经验的要求远比会计要高。 四大每年招多少没财务背景的人去干活啊

what's the point if you are only doing some papaer-pushing work?

it's not gonna help you on your MBA application
