关于新托福考试官方指南上面一道题的疑问

是一道阅读理解题，全文如下：
The Biological Approach. Numerous biological
structures and chemicals appear to be involved in aggression. One is
the hypothalamus, a region of the brain. In response to certain
stimuli, many animals show instinctive aggressive reactions. The
hypothalamus appears to be involved in this inborn reaction pattern:
electrical stimulation of part of the hypothalamus triggers
stereotypical aggressive behaviors in many animals. In people, however,
whose brains are more complex, other brain structures apparently
moderate possible instincts.

Question:
According to paragraph 2, what evidence indicates that aggression in animals is related to the hypothalamus?

1/ Some agggressive animal species have a highly developed hypothalamus.
2/ Artificial stimulation of the hypothalamus results in aggression in animals.
3/ Animals behaving aggressively show increased activity in the hypothalamus.
4/ Animals sho lack a hypothalamus display few aggressive tendencies.

觉得答案应该是2，但是官方指南给的答案是3，理由是：Choice 2 is incorrect because, while the
paragraph states that "electrical stimulation" triggers aggressive
behavior in many animals, this is not "evidence" in itself, but merely
support for the more general statement in choice 3 that increased
hypothalmusic activity, in general, is related to aggression.

我觉得这个解释不对，因为文章里根本没有提到Animals behaving aggressively show increased activity in the hypothalamus这个因果逻辑关系。而且我不明白为什么choice 2不是evidence。请大牛们指点。谢谢啦！

要看清文章的逻辑关系!

H这东西是bio+chemical一种,文章说stimulation是原因,aggression是结果,又说H的stimulation 引发behavior,所以很清楚的看到说H是aggression的原因

看选项B中的artificial这个有问题,题干问的是evidence应该是facts的内容,是客观事实陈述,不应该有主观思维

而C中表示结果的“behaving aggresively”就是因为H的活动增加了 （也就是 刺激增加了 ），才导致行为aggressive

另外此题干“evidence indicated”说明此题为需要推断的客观事实

不知道我说清楚了没有？

仔细分析题目，什么证据表明了动物的AGGRESSION和×××有关？

b.人为刺激×××导致了动物的AGGRESSION。

C。当动物行为很AGGRESSIVE时，×××的运动增多。

很显然，如果是中国人，（因为我们的逻辑思维能力的确有限，没有讽刺的意味哈，我是中国人，所有帝国主义都是纸老虎）都会觉得这两个答案甚至是一样的，但是如LZ所说C 没有在题干中给出～故选 B（其实我也选B）

但是后来仔细分析。B   刺激×××导致AGGRESSION，这能够直接看出他们两的关系么？？ 好像不能。。作者用这个例子是为了表明（第一句话）很多生物结构和化学物质似乎和AGGRESSION有关。

所以说，我们自己代替出题者多思考了一步。

1-2-3 B只能到第二步，不能走到第三步。。。虽然第二步可以很自然的走到第三步，但是我们不能自己走。。。

再看C AGRRESSION导致了×××的活动变多。这明显是一一对应的关系了。

我的愚见吧。。。希望能够有帮助。。。。

（PS：重新看一遍是发现自己在说鸟语。）

感谢楼上两位TX的帮助。我分析了一下这段文字的逻辑关系。我承认如果没有B选项的情况下，C选项是一个很好的答案。但是我的疑问是C选项的逻辑关系。C说的是Animals behaving aggressively show increased activity in the hypothalamus.即aggression是因，导致了increased activity in the hypothalamus这个果，这个因果关系显然和文章里所说的Artificial stimulation of the hypothalamus results in aggression in animals.即stimulation是因，aggression是果是不同的。就是aggression -> increased hypothalamus activity 不等于increased hypothalamus activity -> aggression。所以我才觉得选项B应该更正确。而且我不明白为什么OG说B不是一个EVIDENCE，如果一个试验不是什么EVIDENCE，那什么是EVIDENCE？

这个试验证明了 第一段第一句话（它再怎么和这个结论有联系都不成）

我想把题目换一换然后再说。

如题： 世界上很多物质和器官都和动物的AGGRESSION有联系，比如，后脑（我随便写的，不是下丘脑），科学实验表明刺激后脑，可以导致动物的AGGRESSION。

请问，下列哪些证据表明下丘脑和动物的AGGRESSION有关。

2. 刺激后脑，动物的AGGRESSION行为增加。

3. 当动物AGGRESSION的时候，下丘脑活动增多。

我想表明，这个例子不是为了证明一个很GENERAL的观点。（如ETS解释），它只是想说明很多物质和器官和它有关。而通过这个结论，（或者说3. AGGRESSION导致下丘脑活动增多）我们就可以推出得到下丘脑和动物的AGGRESSION有关了。。。

我觉得是不是对题目的理解可能有偏差，仔细读读题目好像是题目有点怪。
