With the improvement of the peoples' living standards, more and more people claim high quality lives which can bring them about more happiness and sense of elation. And as a public place, the zoo contents the inhabitants' requirement to some degree. The opinion of mine is that zoo has its purpose to exist.

Animals are people's close friends, especially for the children. Maybe all the children have relationship with animals in their memories. All kids like animals, it's difficult to describe the moment while a kid saw a zebra, curious, amazed, excited, maybe all the above. Animals teach the children the first lesson that all the kids to the virgin forest to first to find the wild animal, it's dangerous and hard to achieve. What we can do is to set up a zoo which is more safe and convenient for the children and other people to look around.

In addition, as the number of the cities grows, and the environment become worse for the animals to live in, many kinds of the animals have to face a serious problem: "die out or not". Especially for the kinds which have already been rare. Therefore people have the duty to protect them, and zoo is the best place. All the animals are being taken good care in the zoo and the precis animals have the chance to multiply, In this aspect, zoo is necessary for some kinds of animals.

Each coin has its two sides; a zoo also can bring some new problems. For example, it's difficult to operate a zoo in the countryside for it's too expensive. And it's not suit to a high developed city, because the pollution of a city may kill some kinds of animals. But when the advantages and disadvantages of a zoo are compared, the most striking conclusion is obvious.

Therefore, taking into the account all these factors, we could safely reach the conclusion that a zoo is necessary for the people thought we may have many impediments in doing this, I believe we can solve all the problems in the future.
