如果你所在城市可考试的日子少,可以写信给GMAT要求增加考位

由于我一直纳闷为啥除了北京上海等地其他地方报名都很难报上,今天特地打电话问了我所在地的考场,得知一个月只有两三天举行考试,

乖乖那我怎么能报上?然后他让我打电话去北京要求那个服务中心增加考位,听意思好像他挺sure这能奏效.致电北京后,那人告诉我说写封信到那个邮箱,

就是gmatservice@neea.edu.cn,把我的要求具体写出来,他们就会跟美国总部申请去,好像没对我这要求表示异议,也有希望的样子.于是我就写了如下一通

内容,就当练习AA了如果大家有需要的,也可以参考提出自己所在城市的具体要求,看能不能实现.有大连的跟我提一样的时间的朋友更好啊呵呵.

Dear Sir/Madam:
  

By frequently checking seat availability of Dalian test center in China,these days, I disappointedly find that only about two days are available
   

for us to take the test each month in these months. However, it is not enough at all especially in the following months since there are and there would be more GMAT 

taker in Dalian than you expected. 
  

What is also worth noticing is that I find the seats available of April in Dalian are at 23rd and 24th, and nearly no seat at other dates. It is also not reasonable since the two days 

are so closed that in fact we seem to have only one choice-at the month end of April.  

I wonder what reason make us have a so narrowed range of choice about the dates? Why could we have another day at another week?
  

And further more, what is happened in May? There are only seats in 8th and 21st are available, 

and they all have been registered nearly one month ago. This fact obviously suggests that more people are willing to take the test than you expected before.
   

From my point of view, I think more GMAT taker would prefer take the test in the beginning or even in the middle of this month since we have a three-

day Labour's Day at May beginning. 

Also this could be proved by the fact that even all the seats at the beginning half month of May in Beijing center have already been registered till now.
  

For myself, my expected day is 12 May, and I also believe it would be many taker's choice since it is the first day of a week and we would take the test 

after a weekend's rest.
  

Admittedly, maybe someone would cancle or reschedule the exam about one or several weeks before the test, but if we offer more available exam dates of the exam,  

there is no evidence to suggest that people who take GMAT would become less and instead I think the total taker in Dalian would be more than less obviously 

since we have the opportunities to choose the nearest test center.   
  

In fact, not only Dalian has this request.  As you know, Beijing test center has test seats every day because it is our capital and more people would take this test there 

as you expected. This is the truth but always the truth in some degree. I have always met some people who are from other cities near Beijing or not very close to Beijing, 

including Dalian, in my last two experience in Beijing test center, and after talking to them I know that there are many people who could not take the test at their home have to 

go to Beijing for the test. So I believed that more seats are needed in some other cities since many province jut have only one test center. 

And more people in other province would like to take the test than you expected as I know. 
   

Even if the total GMAT taker in China would not increase dramatically since more people could choice the nearer test center instead of go to big cities such as Beijing, 

I believe more GMAT taker would appreciate your concern and effort and would like to take other of your test in the future.
  

For the reasons given above, I strongly recommend that you could concern my suggestion to offer more seats in Dalian especially in May 12th or a date near it.  

And also it is hoped that other more seats would be considered in other cities according to your investigation.

我现在也在发愁8、9月份上海的考位都没有了呢。头大。。。
