Give me some suggestions

It is the first time to post the message here . I really need some help to make a study plan. I am almost ten years away from school  and have to pass the GMAT the end of next July . My English is really poor.What is the first step should i do ? I am sorry i can't type Chinese . Hope anyone here give me some suggestions.

I am now studying in Marshall university in west virginia in us , it is really a so so school , anyone who here is interested in this school , i can help and get information for you guys. Now my major is adult education , i did pretty well last semester . Next semester i try to take fundation courses for MBA , so i have to Pass Gmat in July.When i open the materials for gmat , my mind just messed up . I bought xdf's on line courses ,but i still not start yet.i just wonder whether i should recite words first or i should start others first . Please give me some help. And if you are interested in Marshall , I can help too . Studying here is cheaper, it is easy to get schoolarship.

I do not think GMAT is very tough for you. You are studying in US now. Did you take GRE or Toefl before? What is the average GMAT score in your Univ.? What is your goal in GMAT? The bottm line to crack GMAT is the reading ability.

I'm also preparing for GMAT, as a beginner, maybe we can communicate with each other for experience sharing and encourage.

I have browsed a lot of the websites and read the successful author's experience. I think you might take one GMAT test, and see the score , then figure out the strength and weakness of your own, in terms of GMAT.

For me, my vocalbulary is poor and reading speed/effeciency is also not qualified, so my first month is planned to improve the both of them.

1, Reciting words everyday.
2, Finish one RC from OG everyday + pick the long sentences + summarize the questions.

I graudated in 2001, and now is working in a HR consulting firm, will plan to take GMAT by the end of next May,meanwhile, with my work continue.

JJ, we can strive for it together, and you are definetely more convenient for me and have more sufficient time. Good luck !

You have plenty of time, so do not be nervous. set a target according to the average score and just do it! Vacabulary, reading, and so on. Believe youself, no problem!
