具体信息我也不是很清楚，是从坛子里其他人那里知道的。

去年从中国大陆直接录取了6名MBA学生，只有3人最终拿到签证。
我朋友是被局的3人之一，消息可靠。

according to a recent MIT online chat session, all rejects were from shanghai. everywhere else in mainland was fine.

i take it as you are from shanghai?  if so, then sorry that it didn't work out well last year...

but, i didn't think it was "terrible".  the reason why i mentioned the stats from last year was to point out that only one location had the visa problem, to emphasize every where else in mainland was fine.  so don't be discouraged.
