麻烦解释一下。

句子意思要表达一个倍数关系，所有选项中只有D可以。three times the price of what....   what 相当于 price that...。

如果这么理解为什么不用that呢？

我觉得选D的原因是因为 charge price不对，应该是charge xx$,

所以, as, that都指代price,错。than，比较级形式错。at which, 构成 charge at price 结构错，而且 at price 表代价的意思。

for three times the price of (what Sb chages for sth), (what...)中等效于xx$. 所以正确。

请指教。

ls所说只是注意了what在从句中所作的成分－－作了charge的宾语，但是what同时又要作of的宾语。在所有关系代词中，只有what能这么用，同时作两种成分。因此不能用that。that只能作一中成分。

我前面说的what = price that中，price是指具体的钱数。不是对应前面的price。不好意思，没有说清楚。幸亏楼上的提问，才发现自己说的有歧义。。。。
