hi,buddy,thanks for your comments. What I really concerned a lot is the  uniersity of my undergraduate progamme is not better than Xiamen University in accounting field. If I chose PwC, My education backround will be never altered even if I got  a whole bunch of experience in PwC.maybe I will never get this chance to get into this famous Univeristy in accounting. but anyway, you have a point, PwC could equip the people with not only special knowledge but also auditing experience. but one is not likely to work in big four all one' life.huh any idea?

To be frank, i am currently working for one of the big4. I have lots of colleagues who graduated from many great schools(Xia Men U is one of them) Off course, some of them have master's degree in Acct.

I don't think Degree is a big deal since u already get in big4. The knowledge from book and the real work practice are a lot different. One of my colleagues with CPA all passed, thinks the best thing he got from his master study is that he passed all the CPA tests in school. Then he got nothing more than that.

Provided u choose to work, you will get 3 years' w/e and at that time your salary basis will be considerably high. If you choose to spend the time in School, you will probably end up with big4 after you earn Master of Acct. Keep one thing in mind, you will still start as a Staff Accountant and the pay is low.

If your interest is not on academia, I strongly recommand that you go for work first.

LZ的想法比较奇怪。厦大与上财会计国内最好，清华北大的会计也不如厦大，但会有清华人去厦大读会计研究生？ 一旦你有工作经验，你的大学就不重要了，更何况厦大在任何角度都不是一个顶尖的大学，甚至在财务金融的校友网络上还不如上财。

大学本科，清华北大复旦当然是一流的了，但PWC的经验+TIER 2大学一定比清华+烂公司财务有竞争力。建议你从一个职业人角度考虑问题，而不是从一个学生角度考虑。会计毕业是实务，BIG 4学到的远比厦大的强，是书本上学不到的。上财校长唐云为提过，ACCA都比上财的会计研究生有竞争力。

厦大的会计是很牛的，研究生出来后大部分的人看不上四大的offer。本科会计毕业进四大较容易，广东上海福建的四大都有在招聘。当然，如果一毕业就可以进PWC的话，似乎这种选择比较好。

首先感谢你的回复，我以前在pwc实习，也觉得pwc的起点是很高，问题是很少有人想在四大干长的。当要跳槽的时候，尤其是国企，至少在现在，学历还会起作用的。起点就是硕士，那些即使有清华，北大的本科生不是还得继续念吗。ACCA都比上财的会计研究生有竞争力。这句话我真的不敢苟同，我本科期间学的就是ACCA，acca在英国是个二流文凭，在英国CA才是王道，有签字的权利，ACCA就是广告打的响，相对cpa还是差很多。

Thans for your comments first.I used to intern in PwC ,I admitted big four could give employee a very higt starting point in some persepct, but I dont feel like working in big four for all my life ,the thing is that when I decided to hip the job to go to Super state-owed enterprise, Degree really helps then. anyway,I will give a second thought on that.

Super state-owned enterprises?(超级国企 大型国企？)

As long as you have wide connections in one state-owned enterprises, I don't think a bachelor's degree with 3 work years w/e is no better than a Master's degree.

清华北大如果可以找到很满意的工作的或者拿到美国学校offer,都不会继续在清华读书。 你可以去算个比例，统计一下清华留下来继续读研的是不是最top的学生。

国企，如果你有本科学历和一个高官老爹比一个硕士的学位好混多了。

anyway, it won't be a bad choice if you go for Master.  It'll take time to see through the future.
