if you have offers from both schools, talk to current students, just mention you are deciding between duke and ross, i am sure lots of people will be willing to talk to you, i am a michigan guy, but i have good friends at duke, therefore i can't tell you which one is better than the other, however, given your career focus, i would check with each school to find out how many CHINESE students get top consulting offers, that will be a good benchmark. weather, you will be too busy finding jobs in your first year, not sure how much time you will have enjoying the weather regardless where you go ranking, don't pay too much attention to ranking, it changes every year location, unless you are interested in finance (new york obviously has a huge advantage), i doubt being at ann arbor will be a minus, otherwise, ross and tuck will probably be ranked bottom 10 alum, extremely important, if you are interested in several particular firms, find out whether there are ross/fuqua alums working at those firms, invaluable resources |
