It seems that:
1. Duke has a better brand name and international recognition
2. Duke has a better campus and weather there is much milder than Ann Arbor

but:
1. Ross consistently beats Duke on all major rankings ie. USNews, Businessweek and WSJ
2. Ross has better consulting opportunities which is the field I intended to get into
3. Ross has better alum network and recruiter connections

Very difficult decision to make... Any insights?

In my list, Ross is a little beyond Duke.

Considering Chinese recruitment, Duke sent 30+ offers but Ross only gave about 10. I believe this discrepancy will lead to different situation while you're hunting for intern or full-time jobs.

Great point... Duke has a bigger pool of Chinese admits - may reflect schools' perception/preference and support towards Chinese students.

But does that also translate into more intense competition in job hunting where you have to differentiate yourself from this rather homogeneous group?

Ross胜出;)

而且你不觉得Ross的优点比Duke的优点更crucial么?MBA只是两年而已,天气问题在我考虑学校时候权重很轻的。

My suggestion is to find current/former students at both schools and talk to them.  You should also be able to find out the consulting placements for chinese students in recent years for the two schools.  As far as I know, Fuqua has been doing extremely well in consulting last year and this year, for both american students and chinese students. Competition? You eventually compete with students from all top schools after passing the relatively easier first round interview.

It seems you know what you want to do, so it won't be difficult for you to figure out which one is better for you after getting the above first hand info.
