Interview from GSU - Finance

Phone Interview from Georgia State University

It seems some CDer had received the unofficial offer from GSU ( high probably rejected).  I just finished the interview this afternoon because of the late arrival of GMAT score.

Anyway, it's a very nice half-an-hour general talking. The coordinator seems very friendly and emphasized a lot about the academic environment for their h.d students during the interview. They will accept three students this year. The assistantship is about $20,000 per year (include the summer assistantship, not sure). Expect their final decision in about one week.

Anyone who knows about this program, pls kindly share some information. Good luck with everyone, including myself.

the stipend is not 20K/yr. it's 17K/yr, including teaching stipend during the summer

Really? But the finance coordinator told me it's $20k per year during the interview. Where did you get the $17K? Does the assistantship depend on the program you apllying? Thank you very much.
