In @ Olin (Wash. U.) and a few interview tips

Received call from Evan (Director) last Friday. 

1.14 R2 submitted, 2.22 received interview invitation, 3.3 phone interview with Stephanie, She told me she read my essays.

Olin needs you call the interviewer at your expense. (I felt weird about that) 

the talk lasted about 30 min. No tough questions.

Run thro resume, questions about your w/e

why mba, why olin,

what do u want to get from olin.

questions. (we used 1/3 of the time on that topic, so my suggestion is to prepare at least 3 questions to ask. To show you are familiar with their program and do your research)

to ls, yes, i am currently in the US. I got half tuition dean's scholarship. To my limited knowledge, there is one full-tuition, one half-tuition except myself.

when were you interviewed? olin has already sent out some offers to those who have been interviewed. but still quite a few candidates will be interviewed in the coming week in Beijing.(or somewhere else?) Don't worry. Just wait until the final decision date.

to ls, hehe, whether male or female i am not sure, but I think both of them are in the US. So looks like the ad for other region will come out later.  Don't worry, be patient! I wait for more than one month.  I also agree that they are slow.

to flower, I haven't decided yet. My background can be found in my previous post.  definitely not a Niuniu.  But my case can be encouraging to some special applicants who have several years gap.  Good Luck!
