论综合实力HEC自然是法国老大甚至欧洲老大，但是在金融方面EDHEC绝对是法国第一的。

On 12 February 2009, leading Economic journal Le Point, published a special article on Business Schools in France (Grandes Ecoles De Commerce). Each year the magazine publishes the ranking of French business schools and this year gave the breakdown of the best schools for finance.
EDHEC is N°1 with an incredible 100%,  HEC is in 2nd place with 72% and ESSEC comes N°3 with 39 points.

While EDHEC's finance programmes always had a strong reputation, the figures confirm the School's lead. Other notable scores include that of research where EDHEC again comes first with 329 points, 150 points more than HEC and over two and a half times the score of ESSEC.

而且EDHEC 的金融比较偏向于资本市场领域（其风险资产管理研究所被评为欧洲第一），所以在欧洲投行与基金领域很出名，但在其它类型企业界的名声却不是很大。
