Studying in the university, students have so many projects to do. Sometimes they can choice to finish it in a group, sometimes just solve it all by themselves. From my point of view, do the project with team-members is better. There are three reasons for this.

 

Firstly, more people mean more ideas. Working in a team, you can get touch with different kinds of people. Everyone has their own ideas about the project .Also different people is good at different areas .So we can give the different part of the assignment to people according to their capabilities. For example, Bill has a lot of imagination, Lily is skilled in painting, so Bill can design the poster and Lily can draw the poster. In a team, we have massive financial resource and physical resource. The wisdom of the masses exceeds that of the wisest individual. The team can make a more successful project with that.

 

Secondly, it can improve your ability to get along with others. At a later date, you will pay more attention to your words. For instance, during the work you must try your best to let others understand you and accept your opinion. If there is an element of truth in what you has said, you will not be acquiesced. Suppose you do not agree with your team member, how will you say that? Directly or tactfully, politely or rudely? As the result of that, the more conversations you go through the more sense you will be. It is much useful to the development of the individual self.

 

Thirdly, you, as an individual, do not dare to make a risky decision. Nevertheless as a member in a team, you should put forward the risky decision. Probably with the hard work of the whole team, it will be a great success. If unfortunately, it fails. Do not worry, because the responsibility for this failure is not on you. Each member will share the responsibility for that, and everybody will shoulder the consequences. It does not mean you need not to work hard. As a member in a team, everybody should pull the weight on account of the same mark you will get.

 

In conclusion, it is better to achieve a project in team and give the same mark. There is no doubt that two heads are better than one. Essentially the ability to communicate with others is useful.

The most important is the project is going to meet with success.
