20% world population is Chinese - 20% bad guys in world are in China; 20% racists are in China;
Same is true for India.

Especially considering that the vast diversity in economic, social, geographic area, and etc. in China, it is hard to believe that a Chinese can feel confident to say "I understand China".  Can any one tell me how many Chinese do you talk with for more than 20 min in your whole life?    1, 000 or 10,000  out of 1.3 billion is really a small, small number.  

Never draw a conclusion from a small size sample.

同意上面圈儿的观点：人要宽容！每个人种都有好人坏人，何必给全体人扣个大帽子呢！

另外，小声的说，某些在美国的印度人的确对中国人不是很友好，举个自己亲身的小例子：

我一般进门的时候都会看看后面有没有人，有人的话我会把门拉住，让后面人进来。我注意到，一般美国人都会礼节性的说声“谢谢”，但有次我后面是个印度家庭，他们大概7-8个人，所有的人都是大摇大摆的走过，没有任何人理我，好像我就是门童似的。

另外上次去大瀑布，上船时，一帮老印狂往前挤，我爸妈差点摔倒。这也让我心里耿耿于怀。

当然我也遇见过对我非常友善非常nice的印度兄弟。总之，不要一竿子打翻一船人吧。更何况我们国人干嘛自己内部吵来吵去呢？！

I think who actually say that are really ignorant of Chinese culture and people and by saying so they just demonstrated that they themselves are racists at all! A key trait of racists is to judge other people by limited perception.

hey i think you misunderstood what i am trying to say. Look, we, Chinese, especially the ones in America, are often biased against minorities, although we are minority to begin with. I think it is a common perception here in America that Asians (including japanese and koreans) can be really discriminating.

For example, my Chinese friends (Chinese Americans included) always joke about inter-racial relationships. One comment that frequently comes up is "hey, my mom says I'd better date/marry a Chinese person. White is okay, maybe acceptable. But definitely no black or indians."

I don't think you can argue against that. I bet with you that 90% of the Chinese parents (even those that have lived in America for 30 years) think like that....

You know, liu yong, the famous taiwanese writer/painter who lives in Boston. Many times in his book he talked about how unhappy he was when his son, Liu Xuan who went to Harvard undergrad, dated a black girl in college.

Look, my point is, it is what it is. I am a Chinese, and I am proud of my nation. But we have to accept that as a nation, we have weakness or bias...What we can do is to make improvements.  If we all make effort, maybe our next generation or the generation after that will be more open-minded and truely international

等你真的遇到了愚昧无知爱吹牛，骨子里看不起中国人的受过美国高等教育的印度人，你就知道了，中音民族矛盾是骨子里的，是不可调和的，不是你一厢情愿跟人家好，人家就愿意跟你好的，切
