我认为选A更能体现文章的总体和作者的意图。同意第7楼的观点。

第一段第一句里有should be,之后这一段都在讲为什么should be。

然后第二段第一句用了yet，后面两段都在讲yet的原因，一方面是学生的原因，另一方面的学校的原因。〔第二段和第三段有一定的逻辑关系的，体现在第三段第一句双重否定的句子－学生的想法并不重要假如学校不过多依赖外来的经费。说明学生的想法（行为科学是主流课程的外围课程）是重要的在学校过多依赖外来经费的情况下。后面又讲学校为了吸引更多的经费，学校就砍掉了低注册的课程和学位项目。说明行为科学不受学生欢迎就产生低注册，低注册就被学校砍掉。第三段有一定干扰性。〕

这样联系起来的逻辑是:（行为科学）应该（在商学院的课程里获得优先地位的)然而(在商学院里行为科学正为信任度挣扎)。这是文章的骨架。

这一题提得的问题是：这篇文章的主要意图是...。

选E的话只能体现yet后一段的内容，不能体现should be。不能真真体现作者的意图，作者的意图是希望现在的商学院要重视行为科学这门课。

这篇文章词汇句子都不难，再次说明这类考试不是考英文水平，而是你的逻辑。

我也觉得是A
作者第一段第一句就表明态度了的:
Behavior science courses should be gaining prominence in business school curricula.
propose也很合理阿,就是要提议突出这门课在学校课程中的重要性嘛。

题干也是问文章的意图。换做是中文，照样选A。
把意图一开始就表明是再正常不过的手段了。

还有一点就是A，E选项中prominence和prestige的准确性。
来看牛津高阶对两者的解释：

我选的A，但是觉得正确答案是E。GMAT很多文章都是后半部分是文章的重点内容。这篇文章的主题是behavior sciences，而非curricula本身。
第一段讲了behavior sciences的重要性。
第二、三段讲了behavior sciences在学校struggling的原因。
