Last month, my best friend named Lilei made a phone call to me; he said he would come to my city next week. My hometown located in the southwest of China, called Kunming, is noted with good nature scene and various delicious foods. Some people dislike this city because they think this city is not a developed city. However, some people do not agree with them, they believe that this is a good place for living and travel. As to me, I agree with the latter point of view and argue that Lilei will love this city. The reasons as follow:

 

First of all, the environment in my hometown is attractive. There are many famous parks in the city, such as EXPO Park, western mountain park and so on so forth. EXPO park is a very pretty place and very large, it will cost you a whole day to enjoy its' view. There are thousands of flowers in the park and you can smell the different fragrances. This is the most famous park in my city as it is built for the EXPO exhibition which held in 1999. Another example is western mountain park. It is the highest mountain in the city, so many people like to climb the mountain in order to not only keep fit but see the whole city gorgeous view of the whole city. In addition, the air is fresh for there are a lot of trees and the park is located far away from downtown area, so people can relax and closely touch with nature. Therefore, I think Lilei will like the good nature scene.

 

Furthermore, there are many kinds of specialty dishes in my city, needless to say, they are all delicious. I favorite dish called hot pot. People live in my hometown like to spicy and hot food to people warm, because the weather in my city is humid. Hot pot is to be enjoyed by a bunch of people. When we go to the hot pot restaurant, we will sit together around a big table and a big pot being heated in the center. The pot is filled with spicy soup. When the soup boils, we will cool some raw vegetable and meat, for a couple of minutes before they are ready. When the beef done, it looks inviting. In addition, I know that Lilei also like to eat spicy food, so this is not-to-be-missed.

 

However, my city like other cities has its defects. First, compare with the economics of other cities in China, my city is lagged, as a result, there are few supermarket in the city and some kind of goods are not available. It is not convenient. Second, the transportation in my city is effective. There is always traffic congestion during the peak hours like other big cities.

 

From what I have mentioned above, it is not different to get the conclusion that Lilei will obsess with my city.
