If X, Y will happen.所以只有B符合。 without it 相当于if假设吧

ＡＣ不对，if 后面不能跟was，要么现在时跟will,过去时用would

Ｄ不对，never be secure 修饰的对象错了，是their grip never be secure　不是French

E不对，把原句改成了倒装句，倒装句有强调作用，一般用于主句，不用于从句中，且，改变了原来的意思。（属于强语气的添加和丢失）
