面描述的两年老师数量的不一样？

楼主你大既误解resignations的意思…

这里有一个Contradiction就是student population 增加而teacher离职也增加

但Newtown School不受影响...........why????

找帮助解释…所以ans:E

解释àE：93年老师求职申请太多了（比实际需要多了40%），所以现在潜在老师其实是很多的，不怕

C：Ratio=学生/老师，没有增加，就是ratio没变或者减少。

没变à学生多了，老师也要多，但是其实少了，不对。

减少à学生多了，老师就要增加的更多，但是老师减少了，也不对

但是当时排除E是因为只说了93年的情况，鬼知道94年这帮applicant是不是跑到别的地方去了呢，逻辑上还是不严密的。

同意楼上的说法，此题确实存在问题！1993年的情况不能说明late1990’s都是这个情况啊！！！这明显是fallacious analogy!!!

E能算解释么。。。应该只能说是结论的一个体现或者是evidence，结论说老师并没有缺，然后又E作为一个evidence可以support，怎么能说E就变成一个explaination了呢

我觉得这道题不存在这种问题，理由如下：
文中开头说道1993比1985申请数量下降了5.7%，1994比1985申请数量下降了5.9%，从这两个数据可以算出1994比1993下降了将近千分之二，
而另外，E中说1993年申请数量超过实际招聘数量40%，即使94年少了千分之二，但这个数据太小，几乎不会产生影响，所以94年肯定也是需求大于供给的情况~

GMAT应该还是比较严谨的~
