等待Cornell面试的请进

Here's the information provided by a kind alumni in Cornell. If you intend to transfer from on-campus interview to alumni/phone one, the procedure below will be helpful.

1. Contact your account manager and inform him that you want to get an alumni interview ;

2.      2.  Your account manager will send you a list by Email with alumni available;

3.      3.  You will contact the alumni and reply your account manager about your arrangement;

4.       4. If your account manager didn’t find a suitable alumni for you, he may arrange a telephone interview for you.

        But it seems that all account manager are quite busy. I called one of them, and he agreed to arrange an alumni interview as the procedure listed above. However, 3 biz days has passed and I still haven't got any message from him. When I rang him again yesterday, no one answers.

        It is said on BW forum that Cornell has postpone its R2 decision date for two weeks due to the huge volume of application. But before formal notification given, we would better try our best to finish interview before standard criteria.

        Let'b be patient and do our best to show our loyalty to Cornell. Good luck, everyone.

申请cornell你一定要注意的，他家流程比较复杂

任何一步完成后，你都应该收到学校的确认email。例如，你跟你对应的adcom assisstance通过电话后，他应该发给你一个中国校友list，然后你确定好校友面试时间地点后，发email给adcom，在cornell adcom确认后，你应该收到学校的email。注意：只有你收到学校确认你的interview的email时，你才可以面试。因为学校是要把专门针对你的面试问题发给校友，然后校友根据question list去问你的。我第一次就是没有收到学校的interview confirmation email， 结果面试被延迟了，因为校友没有收到学校的问题。

面试结束后，校友应该第一时间发反馈email给cornell，这是你也应该收到一封学校的email，告诉你所有的东西都齐了，等着结果吧。

如果任何上述一步，你没有收到学校的确认email的话，马上打电话问。cornell的电话不是很好打，因为他们很忙。听起来像是没人接，其实可能是他们正在另一根线上打电话。隔15分钟就打一次，没问题的。一般来说，你可以在cornell当地早上8：30的时候，给他们打电话，这时候一般比较好接通。不用非等到9点。

after tons of negothiation with Cornell, they agreed to waive my TOEFL and set my status to under review. Hopefully I could get a feedback in two weeks from now. BTW, tjuwenzi will you reject Cornell offer? I know that you got better ones...
