hi columbia2008, would you mind to share some insight how do you write Essay 2 ? Though i hv read some essay analysis from some websites, still can't find a clear clue what to put in this essay. Much appreciate your suggestion.

one point added on foreverjacky's comments: though u need to cover why mba in both essay 1 and 2, u could write it from different perspective. for example, in essay 1, link it back to your career goals very specifically in terms of resources at CBS; in essay 2, focus on soft skills and other qualifications (which is required for your industry) u gain through mba. just my 2 cents.

citi有针对international students的不需要co-signer的loan, 只是利率要高一些.

You couldn't exceed the word limit - the online application system won't allow it. in my case... i had to double check many times..

Hi, Lize.. why do you say so? I checked the online application system. For every essay, it accepts 600000 Characters.. It is more more mroe than enough to contain whatever you want to put in. Isn't it?

Can anybody help to verify? thanks.

我想lize说的可能是指在线填application时，很多地方会有字数限制（不仅仅是essay那部分，包括工作经验和社区经验）。这和你说的essay本身的字数限制（如果我没记错，第一篇700）不是一回事。我想你问的关于字数是否能超过限制10%的问题应该是指后者。Essay本身超10%以内的字数是没有问题的。希望对你有帮助。

谢谢columbia2008。不过我还是觉得lize说的有问题。columbia申请的，只要是需要输入的地方，如果给出输入的字符的范围，基本上都是60000，多得用不完。没有什么别的地方可以让输入然后回头检查被truncate的情况。

不过最重要的是essay没问题了。谢谢。
