acclaim sb/sth as is idiomatic. "to be" 的逻辑主语应是 Martha Graham，句意不对。Martha Graham 不能称赞她本人是sb.

acclaimed adj.

be acclaimed 备受推崇     本题as是“作为”的意思， 如果接to be 就有了“被推崇为”的意思。那么，就应该理解be acclaimed 为使用acclaim v. 的被动形式了。而acclaim做动词时，应用 acclaim n1 n2。因此就成了n1 be acclaimed n2.

大家不要和claim搞混了。
