Do you agree or disagree "to achieve success, knowledge learned through study is more important than the ability of creative".

 

Knowledge economy is one of the key words in 21st century. With the development of society education system, more and more people obtain the chance to have advanced education in university or college. We also see eminent young - from the founder of Microsoft to the founder of Google - became the eminent soul and achieve great success. What is the difference between them with other well educated people? Is it the knowledge? It is the ability of creative which play a more important role.

 

From my perspective, the dream of the future is of most importance in the path to success. Knowledge can help us realize our dreams but it has nothing to with developing our dream. “I hope every people can have a computer in the desk” – this is the dream of Bill Gates who is one of the most successful people in today’s world. Now with this dream, Bill develops his world – Microsoft Company. If without such dream, we can imagine that Bill might be a good engineer or a great scientist in computer science, but he can not gain such tremendous success in Business. What help us to develop dream? It is the creative thinking.

 

Moreover, creative thinking is the source of new ideas which leads us to the door of success. Scientists will always lie on the old knowledge and can not break through it if they just believe what they learned from the book. Thanks to the creative thinking, many old theories have been reviewed and the problems in it have been point out. The scientists used the knowledge and the creative thinking to find out the solution and set up new theories which are more accurate to reflect natural phenomena. Therefore, the living standard has been improved due the technology improvement. The scientists who contribute to such improvement have been treated as the successful ones in society.

 

In summary, as far as I am concerned, the ability of creative is unique quality to achieve success and it should accompanied by the good knowledge learned through study.

do you agree or disagree with that statement: you(student) should take the most difficult class in colleague or at university, even if you cannot get the top grades (or marks )in them.

 

In my country, most people consider education is one of the most important things to one's success. With the improvement of the educational system, more and more people get the opportunity to go to university and obtain advanced education. Meanwhile, university also conduct revolution in curriculum setting, therefore students now have chance to make decision on what class they want to take. From my perspective, it is a good chance but also a challenge that freshman have to face as they have no experience in how to select the course in high school.

 

When I was a student in university, I encounter the same situation which takes me a lot of time to think about. Of course, I want to get top grades as many other students. But my goal to attend the university is not just get top grades but to be well prepared for my future career, so from this point, I would like to select the course which will be of great benefit to me, say, will enhance my necessary skill in jobs. That means, the standard that I followed to choose class is not whether it is the most difficult class or whether it is the class that I can get the top grades.

 

To be successful in career, I believe that I will inevitably meet many difficulties. To be well prepared and be sturdy enough, taking difficult class is a best practice in college because it will involve some similar factors just as in jobs. I can learn not only the knowledge from the class but also learn how to solve problems, how to be insisted on archiving certain goals, and also how to get help from other people.

 

Furthermore, we can take advantage of the university resources as there are many eminent professors. I would like to choose the course instructed by great professor no matter whether I can get great top score or not.

 

All in all, I believe take necessary course and take the advantage of the university resource will actually benefit to college students.
