题目:父母是不是好老师
Confucius, the most influential philosopher in ancient China and a prominent thinker during the Spring and Autumn period in China’s history, had ever quoted in his work ,the Analects that It is the father’s fault to ignore the education of his son ,while it is the mistaken method of teaching that leads to the deform of one’s inborn virtue.
Nowadays a general controversy about weather the parents are best teachers or not is under discussion . Since parents get involve our education earlier than anyone else ,when facing this debate, I think an overwhelming majority of people recognize their parents as best teachers, However, I can not totally agree to this opinion. Can we judge the influence of a teacher only by the sequence of time he or she get involve in our education?
Admittedly, parents can be revered as our good friends ,not only because of teaching us how to speak how to walk but also for teaching us some common sense and in my point of view the principal influence lies in their impact on the offspring’s concept of value ,it the most import impact which may last one’s whole life as well as be passed to the next generation or further .
Nevertheless, far as I see , the importance of a teacher weighs in developing our understanding to the circumstance around and to the world we live in, as well as helping us realize our potentials in the fields we talented .Such goals, I think ,can only be achieved by professional teachers in terms of their further training of educating.
Further more, examples of some illustrious and successful figures show that sometimes parents can be the obstacle in one’s way to the success. As a illustration ,the example of Charels Dickens the most accomplished writer of the Victorian period serves as a case in point .Dickens grew up in a destitute family. His father always spent more than he made. His family’s increasing poverty forced Dickens to leave school at the age of the 12 to work in a shoe-polish factory , where he was constantly mocked by other workers. Soon ,his father was sent to jail for unpaid debt. Dickens had to live alone in impoverishment in rented room while the rest of his family moved into prison with his father .Can we say the parents of Charles Dickens were his best parents? The answer is obvious
As time running by, I will wrap my essay in this way ,that taking everything into consideration although parents are critical to one’s education in early ages ,still rather than best teachers parents are tend to be better described as our permanent good friend . |
