thats life! u know.. full of up and down. If you can achieve high GPA, high GMat,and also passed CFA (2 lvls), I am sure you can overcome the diffculty of applying to your dream school. There are many worse cases than yours ..heheh like mine---> still aiming for a higher GMAT score..

Why not go to Toronto now and work for another year or two before applying? At the same time you could complete the CFA level III. Good for you to realize that MBA may help shaping your future, but I don't see any rush to apply at this moment, unless there are other factors which you have/may not want to share.

Cheer up! Living in Canada by itself means that you have much more freedom than the majority of the world's population; and being a 2004 Graduate means that you still have tons of time to enjoy the freedom. (plus, I guess you don't have any attachment yet

Best wish and good luck !!

I thought about going to Toronto, but I want to do IB, Bay Street is so limited in these jobs. CFAs are everywhere in Toronto. I tried a few times, but no luck. I currently do personal banking, I feel so stressed out by the job so I don't want to apply for another position within the same field just to get away from this city. Because if I move, I'm looking at another two years working in Canada. I don't like it here to be honest, there is so little competition, not a place for young people. But I really appreciate the encouragement, all I can do is to apply now. If it all comes to nothing then I may have to think other avenues. I think I would go insane if I stay here for another year, so it's not even a choice to me...5555555555...
