I would say HBS is sort of difficult, but you have a chance at MIT.

It's all about how you put your stories together.

haha,
I didn't pay attention to my spellings.
Seems that a kind of joke written HSB( HSBC is 香港汇丰银行) instead of HBS.
BTW, I do not like HSBC's service.

Thanks Prescott.
Pretty sure, that's really impossible.
Anyway, everyone, enjoy this joke.

Seems lack of leadership experience, which would lock you out of HBS and Sloan...

Just my .02. Best of wishes anyway.

hi guys
That's right. Leadership is
the key.
But what's your definition of leadership?
Leading a
big project affects the whole company's future is called
leadership.
On another hand, small case with only two people isn't
leadership?
Be honest, if you already in that high position in
North American and do not plan go back China, I will suggest that
think carefully before you quit your current job and join in the full
time MBA school.
That's a huge risk.
As an immigration, I know how hard
to find a high position job here. A lot limitations.

That's why I am sure I didn't lose my
mind.
The truth is, not Top B-School, you have a 'fat' chance to
find a job in Canada. (America has higher probability).
But also, I agree everyone here. I will postpone till a better time.

To
Scaring:
Few years to go 31/32. But as a woman, at that time, I
probably will focus on my family and kids.

Thanks everyone.

I think there are a lot types of leadership defintions depending on how you inteperate and how the schools evaluate...

Yes, opportunity cost is high if you already have a decent job. In Canada, I would say if you already make around CAD$90K+. Remember the exchange rate now ;-)

Most importantly, make sure what you want to do post-MBA, then go for it :-) However, in some cases, as far as I know a few people quit US$200k+ IB jobs, and went for HBS just beause of the school...
