Emory ADCOM Interview in Beijing

Package 还没有提交，申请了一个Emory的interview机会，准备见机行事。面试是一位非常nice 的lady.

我把准备好的resume递上去给他，她一开始询问了一下我是否提交了package,我说没有，她说没有关系，balabala..

然后是正式开始，基本上问题都在围绕简历上的工作经历。interview的问题没太出乎意料的，大致如下：

1. Introduce your working experience. ==> 我一开始有点紧张，上来就说我先自我介绍吧，然后就从学校，工作，balabala 说了一通。
2. Why MBA?  ==》我就把我的career goal 开始说了，提到MBA是我现在认为是适合的时候需要去的。这个时候提了一下Emory的强项和我的career goal的联系....
3. Why Emory?
4. 你认为Teamwork最重要是什么?
5. 你的业余爱好?
6. 你在大学时还参加了一些什么样的课外活动?
7. 你认为职业生涯里最自豪的成就是啥?
8. Questions to Emory

整个过程基本上都是我在说，她在听，偶尔问几个问题。看不出她的态度是好还是不好。不过问题倒是没有什么特别怪的，我准备了很久的core value,她也没有问，FT。

After you submit your application, send an Email to inform her personally. It would (hopefully) accelerate the application process. ^_^

我还没写essay,心里还没底,那以后电话面试也要预约么,面试在他家整个评判过程中占的比例大不?

Before Nov., you can request an interview even without a complete application.

However, since now is the peak season, interview is by invitation only.

Interview is an important factor in the application package.

今早10点面试的，大概40分钟。

1. Introduce your working experience.

2. How did you cooperate with your foreign colleagues?

3. How did you lead the client team?

4. Why MBA? What do you know about Atlanta?

5. What program in emory are you interested in most? (I talked about consulting concentration and Goizueta plus)

6. Tell me 3 words which your teammates used to describe you.

7. What you can do differently if you can go over your past career again?

8. What do you think is the biggest challenge when you come to the U.S for MBA study?

9. Your contribution and How are you going to organize the activity in emory community?

10. Your hobbies?

11. Any questions from you?

总的来说风格比较nice,不会challenge你。问题问得比较多，有不少是临时思考回答的。不过，just relax and enjoy.

感觉是比较professional,不像tuck那么喜欢谈personal的东西。
