Should government invest on space exploration or on the basic needs of the earth Have you ever caught sight of poor children begging at the street corner in a bleak winter night? Have you already been inflicted by respiratory diseases? Have you once complained that advanced schools are inaccessible to your daughter and son? If you have experienced such depressing matters, seldom would you encourage government pour money into space explorations, for the basic needs of the earth have not been satisfied yet, which are closely connected with your profits. Taking all these factors into account, I strongly maintain that government should invest more money to solve the present problems existing on the earth. A painful truth is that the homeless and the unemployed are ubiquitous in the world, not to mention those leading an impoverished life, sparing no money to afford healthcare, who just consider to be stuffed as their terminal goals. Such people, the lowest class in our society, cannot be neglected, as they represent a key factor contributed to social security. Provided that little attention attached to them, and their living conditions are worsen and worsen; just imagine what devastating thing would happen. Spurred by anxiety and dissatisfaction, violent rages caused by poor people are never rare incidents through the history. To comfort them, and accordingly build up a more peaceful social order, the government, surely, should make endeavor to improve their situations by spending money. Another aspect that cannot be ignored, as it has come to be known by everyone, is the aggravating pollution. Not only those who living in the urban areas, but also the villagers, who consistently are thought as breathing clean air everyday, are prone to the severe environmental problems. Long lines standing at the respiratory department of the hospital has become spectacular scenery in this country. Moreover, terrifying statistics has already posed a warning to us, as increasing numbers of people died annually because of exposing to such dirty and toxic air. Thus, abundant money should be paid by government to create an inhabitable environment for people. Education, as it were, has never failed to be the thorny problem confronted by the government, for high standard schools are in great shortage, causing many school age children to attend remote schools or even take up self-learning at home, which would definitely exert negative impacts on their future;Consequently,a dim prospect of the country. My nephew, for instance, usually wastes three hours on communing and get exhausted when arriving home very late in the evening, feeling like doing nothing. Therefore, a great number of modern schools are in urgent need, so the government should found a special fund on this issue. Space exploration, certainly should be on the top agenda of government, as such activity contributes enormously to the science and technology, planning an appealing blueprint to our human beings' expecting future. However, considering piles of current serious problems have not been solved, government should put emphasis on meeting the needs of the earth and the people living on it, in which way, a harmonious society would be foreseeable.
