B7. The following appeared as part of an article in a daily newspaper:

“The computerized onboard warning system that will be installed in commercial airliners will virtually solve the problem of midair plane collisions. One plane’s warning system can receive signals from another’s transponder—a radio set that signals a plane’s course—in order to determine the likelihood of a collision and recommend evasive action.”

一个是determine the likelihood of a collision and recommend evasive action不一定能说明pilot能合理实行并avoid collision。

其他的就想不出了~

There are so many things can go wrong-just stay 2~3 in your writing.

{However, the proposal won't solve all the problem of midair plane collisions.  }
{At least two airplanes are required for midair collisions.  The author mentions commercial airplane, however, many small planes such as private and millitary airplanes are unaccounted.  Those  small planes may have difficulty to install the equipment, because it is unclear that what is the cost and the specification of equipmen such as space occupied, power needed, cooling and so forth.}
{In certain stage of flights such as take-off and landing, the plane is controlled by pilot not by auto-pilot (a computer program), therefore, it may be very difficult to predict the flight course.
