题目：Subjects such as art, music, and drama should be a part of every child’s basic education.

作文：

Subjects such as art, music, and drama, are a part of the liberal arts. In my opinion, they should be included in every child’s basic education.

 It is always said that a child is like a completely white paper, then what ought to be drawn on the paper?Surly it shouldn’t depend on others’ opinion, but on the child’s own. So he has to grow up and experience the life and then make the decision. And the literal arts education is among the most influential ways for people to access to life, for the artistic sources life while higher than life. Through the education, the child is able to find out the subject he is interested in and even devoted to. Paul Cezanne found his favorite work is painting at a young age, and then devoted himself into painting. So we now could appreciate the great works of him.

 The forever theme of art is humanity. Therefore, the art subjects play an irreplaceable role in the child’s development of personality. Generally speaking, science makes person reasonable, rational and logical while literal arts subjects make person sentimental, romantic and idealist. The youth appreciate the fabulous creatures from Van Gogh, experience the great love from Shakespeare, and feel the strong belief from Beethoven. How could you imagine a rigid, colorless, and monotonous person without these lovely characteristics? Since childhood is the most crucial time to form personality, the literal arts education is strongly needed.

 If every child can receive basic education in subjects such as art, music and drama, and is likely to be a cute person, how nice the whole society will be? A small progress of an individual accumulates a huge step of the society. Every member is able to live a better life at that time.

 Although it may cost the government more to serve literal arts education, it will really benefits the offspring and the entire society. For all the reasons, every child should have the education on the subjects like art, music and drama. (339)
