答案是E.我仔细看过答案了，发现我就是括号里的意思不能理解.而且红字部分和答案的解释我总理解不了。怎么就表示在最短的时间里可以有投票权呢?

杜维尔哲的研究发现：妇女比男子较少参与投票（这种差别限定了拥有投票时间较长的妇女参与了投票），并且比男子要稍保守些．

是说投票时间最短的国家的妇女，她们参与投票就更少了，就与男子参与投票的次数差别就更大了

the longer women had the vote用这样的词来说投票时间较长的妇女参与了投票也太不正式了，就这样设计陷阱？不懂！

实际上我也觉得那句话很是奇怪.the longer women had the vote.我到现在也不知道要怎么分析。不过很谢谢你。我总算明白了一些.看过好多别人的帖子。还是觉得你的解释最能让我明白。
