in China: dream is the US. 1st month in US: beautiful! 1st year in US: appartment is bigger, car is better than bike, English is improved dramatically, earn more money.... 2nd year: not too bad. English is too bad. 3rd year: that's it. you have got all the things you can get. maybe a house, maybe a first-hand car. whatever. anyway, that's it. you can not get any more than you have now. 4th year: consider go back China seriously.
let me continue what siebel left after 4th year, the guy went back to China
in US, dream of being "Ren Shang Ren" in China 1st month in China, feeling great, people admire you so much once they know you came back from America 2nd month in China, food tastes much better, more entertainment options, and too many PLMM 1st year, luckily getting a job, the pay isn't what is expected. but "The real gold will shine" 2nd year, not too bad, did get promotion 3nd year, that is it. all these local chinese in the company are acting against me, the real stuff cost more than in america. and too many people 4th year, man, I am going back to US
As long as you have money, it really does not matter where you are. But I really doubt whether we can earn large amount here. Thinking about the high income tax rate in US, in fact, if you can find a good job in China, your life will not be much different.

It is different, heyhey, living a life in school, getting on a bus 52 and eating at Jimmy Beans is not what is out there.. (no offense, please)
high income tax? I agree, but that comes with benefit.
don't get me wrong, I want to go back to China too. As I said, once we came abroad, we became the men in the middle, there is no conclusive better side of the ocean.
Bottom line: take the best possible offer that you can get, who cares where they are.

As full-time students, we usually have more time to explore life outside school. Therefore, Jimmy Beans is mainly for those with time constraint. (Hehe, no offense, please.)
