I have no chance to apply for the second round of berkeley.Can some NN tell me the possibility of the successful applying in the third round ?(only compared the chance in second round with that of the third one)
First, Haas did admit international students in the third round. Second, since few international applied in the third round (school does suggest to catch the first two rounds), your chance is, in fact, more. But you must provide high quality package, which I do not think you can make it in a rush.
Smile, I do not agree your comments. it is true that Hass and many other schools admit intl. students in 3rd round, but what is the chance of getting in when you are competing for the less than 10 seats among thousands of applicants.

As an international applicant, you always fight with internationals not Americans. Though schools do have quotas, there are always vacancies. And if you are really excellent, schools will offer you even exceeding the quota. No school got 100% yield rate so far.
To smile: Haas has four found of application right? I planned to apply for the second round whose deadline is 12th Dec. While i took TOEFL in Nov,2003, it is impossible for me to get the TOEFL score before the deadline. What's your suggestion? Proceed with an estimate TOEFL score or wait until i know my score and apply for the third round?
