嗯。。其实申请的整个过程就是对自己的一个综合评估，找到自己理想又合适的学校也是不容易的啦。。。

我这儿就是放一些大众情人类（哈哈）的学校，因为好像关于这些学校的问题问得比较多。。。

究竟大家要申些什么，还是要看自己的情况咯。。。

搜集了那么多所好学校，目标很明确嘛，一定能申到好学校的~哈

接着来，一所让我不知道说什么好的学校。。。


WM

要注意的是，9个月的program，然后还必须要WES，哎。。。
这家的ESSAY要3篇，还有一篇optional的，所有的题目必须你网申的时候才能看得到。。第一轮deadline也狂早。。
地方小，没有中国超市，小班
唯一能够吸引我的，是离我的MHT近。。（哇哈哈，不知道某人看不看得到。。。）

        

Required Courses

        

All
students must complete the following courses prior to matriculation
into the Master of Accounting program. You do not need to have
completed them prior to the time you submit your application, however.
If you are in the process of taking one or more of these classes when
you apply, or have plans to take them the summer before you would begin
the program, please indicate this on your application.

            

Principles of Accounting
                
• Study of the use and
preparation of financial information and the accounting system as an
interpretative tool to communicate information about a variety of
economic events to both internal and external users
• reparation and interpretation of financial statements for external users as well as managerial uses of accounting data
• Cost analysis
• Budgeting and performance evaluation

Statistics 
• Basic concepts of statistical analysis within a business environment
• Attention to solution methods via use of the computer

Financial Management
                
• Theory and practice of valuation
• Current and long term financing
• Working capital management
• Capital budgeting
• Multinational finance

Introduction to Information Technology
                
• An introduction to current and expected future trends in information technology and their impact on organizations
• Strategic value of information
• Hardware and software issues
• Networks and telecommunications
• lanning, justification, development, and management of information resources

Financial Reporting & Analysis (Intermediate Accounting I)
(Offered by the MAcc program as an intensive course during the summer in our Bootcamp format.)
                
• An
analysis of balance sheets and profit and loss statements, together
with the theory of valuation underlying the various accounts used in
these statements

Auditing and Assurance Services
(Offered by the MAcc program as an intensive course during the summer in our Bootcamp format.)
                
• Application
of technology, modeling, statistics, and other auditing procedures
within the framework of generally accepted auditing standards
• Study of reporting, ethics, and international practices

If you have NOT completed the prerequisites:

                    

Applicants to the MAcc Program are not required to complete all prerequisite courses prior to applying,
but should have plans to complete the required prerequisites and
provide official transcripts indicating performance in those courses
prior to enrolling in the program.

                    

As an option for completing the necessary courses  Intermediate
Accounting and Auditing are each offered in intensive, two-week formats
immediately prior to the start of classes every August.  Read more

                MAcc Admission Requirements
            

        
        

Prerequisites
Applicants
to the MAcc Program are not required to complete all prerequisite
courses prior to applying, but should have plans to complete the
required prerequisites and provide official transcripts indicating
performance in those courses prior to enrolling in the program.

            

GMAT
All applicants are required to
submit official scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test
(GMAT). If you are planning to enroll in the MAcc Program following
your senior year, we strongly recommend taking the GMAT during the
spring of your junior year or during the summer between your junior and
senior year. Test scores must be forwarded directly to The College of
William & Mary Mason School of Business by Educational Testing
Services (ETS); our school code is 9DDX743.

            

Academic Records
The Admissions Committee
requires official transcripts from each of the college and universities
you have attended as a registered student (regardless of the number of
courses taken), including summer school, evening classes, etc.
International students must also submit a WES evaluation for courses
taken outside of the US. Please refer to the Additional Admission
Requirements page if you are an international student.

            

Recommendations
Two written
recommendations specific to your intellectual and professional
abilities should be submitted as part of your application file.

            

Application and Application Fee
The
completed application, including three essay questions and a resume,
must be submitted, along with a non-refundable application fee of $80.
(The application fee is waived for William & Mary undergraduates
and alumni and for active members of the US military.) You may pay with
a credit card when filling out your application online or send a
personal check, money order or cashier’s check payable to

Interview
An interview is required for
admission to the program. In each application period, the Admissions
Committee will schedule interviews with the most competitive applicants
based on a review of the application materials. We will contact you to
arrange an interview once we have reviewed your completed application.
Interviews can be conducted by telephone when necessary.

the web, you can work on and complete your application from any
location with Internet access and then submit it via a secure website.
Although the website does record the names of individuals who have
started applications, your application is not available for review by
the Admissions Committee until it is complete and you have clicked the

Application Timetable
Admission to the MAcc
Program is granted for the Fall term only.  Individuals seeking merit
scholarship awards administered by the Master of Accounting Program
should apply before February 12, 2008. To facilitate visa processing,
international applicants are strongly encouraged to apply before
January 15, 2008. By the final round, places in the class may be
limited. It is to your advantage to apply in earlier rounds.

还想唠叨几句WM，申请的表格恶难填，不人性化！

对于我来说，本科读的是商科但不是会计，要申请的选择余地又少。

排除要prerequite会计课程的（基本上我都有1-2门没读过），排除掉地理位置非常不好，排除掉要WES的，就很少了。

不过有人了解WES到底怎么弄么？？？
