UIUC
先说一下,UIUC08的MSA变成12个月的program了,令我很惊奇。。还有大家别忘了,这个项目是6月初开学的噢 ^_^
Admission Requirements Candidates are required to have a business background and the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. They must have earned a minimum grade average of "B," or the equivalent, in the last two years of undergraduate study. In addition, applicants must have completed two Principles of Accounting courses and one course in each of the following areas: statistics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, finance, marketing, and organizational behavior. (这些课程必须是要在大学期间修过,不能过去补,我发信问过的)
The GMAT is not required although strongly recommended. All applicants are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Because admission to the MSA program is very competitive, the recommended minimum score is 600 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT), 250 on the computer-based TOEFL (CBT), or 100 on the Internet Based Test (IBT). Students with scores greater than the campus minimum of 550 PBT, 213 CBT or 79 IBT may still apply. Admitted students with scores less than 613 PBT, 257 CBT, or 103 IBT will be required to take an English Placement Test when they arrive on campus. Applicants who have received a bachelor’s or higher degree from a U.S. university within the last five years can apply for a TOEFL waiver. Waiver requests are subject to review by the Admissions Committee.
Application Materials The online application form is available through the Graduate College website. It is due by February 1. The MSA Program accepts summer applications only because the program begins in June. The following supplemental application material should be sent to the MSA Office. - Final official transcript
from each college or university attended, along with certified English translations if the records are in a language other than English. Credentials must be certified by an officer of the educational institution issuing the documents or by an official employed by the U.S. embassy or consulate. You should request that the educational institution send the transcript directly to the University of Illinois MSA Office in a sealed envelope. - Three letters of recommendation from academic and/or business sources. These forms can be downloaded from https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=uiuc-grad during the online application process.
- A
current résumé. This should include personal information (name, address, telephone number and email address), educational background, work experience (length of time in each position and a brief description of responsibilities), special training, professional associations, and special skills. May be uploaded during the online application process or sent in with your other supplemental materials. - A
maximum 1000-word personal statement that describes the reasons for pursuing the degree as well as personal and professional goals. May be uploaded during the online application process or sent in with your other supplemental materials. - A Declaration and Certification of Finances Form (PDF document) for International Students only.
- TOEFL score, if required.
- A
non-refundable application fee is required before any action can be taken. The fee is $50 for domestic students and $60 for international students. It may be paid by credit card with the online application, or by check or money order payable to "University of Illinois".
Please visit the International Student & Scholar Services website for additional information and resources for international students.
