以下是引用suncola在2007-12-22 12:41:00的发言: 1. You don't have to choose management as the concentration. Management consulting has stable recruiting stream with gate wide open to MBA students at Top 20.
2. High performance leadership, Top management process, and Napoleon's glance are among the most popular classes. Negotiation is taken by most students.
Best luck!
Wow, thank you so much for your quick reply, suncola, I indeed appreciate the great information! Hope you dont mind I ask three more follow-up questions: 1. For most CBS graduates hired by Mckinsey or Bain, do they have Decision, Risk, and Operations major or Management Major? Somehow the first one also has a lot of good management classes, such as Information technology and operations strategy and Technology management, which confused me somewhat. Or maybe this major is more for operational consulting rather than strategic consulting? 2. Just want to quickly confirm, Negotiation is the class "B8412 Managerial negotiations", right? This class seems taught by multiple professors in recent year. Which one is more popular? Prof. Casey Ichniowski prof. Michael W. Morris Prof. Daniel R. Ames Prof. Tory Higgins prof. Elke Weber or prof. Jeremy Burrus 3. How about core course "Strategy formulation"? Is this half case-study, half lecture method?
Thanks in advance, |
