Help! 参观columbia

请问columbia的2009 CDers, 我准备11月16号（星期五）从加州去纽约参观学校，不知道那一位有没有时间能和我一起聊聊学校或申请情况。我准备第二轮申请，就是想和哥大的中国同学交流一下，不会耽误你们太多时间。如果可以的话，能不能留个email或电话什么的，多谢了。

最近刚刚开始填表，发现一个问题。Online Application form中是不是只有带*的是必添项啊？其他都是可选？（并没有发现有关注释）。如果是这样的话，请问是不是应该尽量把可选项也填了？这样是不是会给adcom比较好的印象？

1. Online Application form中是不是只有带*的是必添项啊？其他都是可选? - I suggest you confirm with the Adcom office on this.

2. If you think you can bring some "strengths" on the non-requested items, you might want to add them on; but if you think such item might rise up some "question mark" in the Adcom officers' mind, you might NOT want to add such contents on your application package.

Columbia Business School offers loan with or without cosigner via Citi-Assist loan scheme.

Altough I cannot find info from website, I got positive feedback from financial aid office:

Students are eligible to borrow the full tuition plus living expenses utilizing student loans. Your private loan approval can be used to apply for the I-20.  Currently, students can apply for a private loan in at least one of three ways:

 

 

1.  With a US cosigner:  Interest rate: As low as Prime - 1% or LIBOR + 3.5% depending on the lender and the cosigner's credit score. 

 

 

2.  With 2 years of US credit history: You must earn a minimum credit bureau score and have two years of established U.S. credit history in your own name, including at least three non-student loan trades, one of which has been open for 24 months.  Interest rate:  As low as 3-month LIBOR + 1.7%

 

 

3.  Without a US cosigner:
     Interest rate:  As low as Prime rate plus 2%.

哥大网上说 You may submit official transcripts from each of the colleges and universities you have attended as a registered student.请问那么是说这个official transcripts 最后是由我本人寄给他们呢还是有我本科的大学直接寄给他们？ 由我本人寄的他们会再去和我的大学verify吗？
