以下是引用tingyun在2008-2-24 16:25:00的发言:Huge impact... especially for people who are interested in IB. Not because the sub-prime has direct impact on HK job market, which is still fine, but because it has huge impact in U.S. job market. Therefore much more U.S. B-school students go to IB in HK than previous years... In terms of the job hunting of UST students... so far it's not so promising. One HK student got a trader position in ABN Amro HK, one Italian student got a back office position in Deutsche Bank BJ. As for mainland students, only one got Marketing position in 3M HK. Others are still struggling. //no, tingyun, do not forget me I have confirmed offer for 3 month, which is not bad However, there are still opportunities there. Several mainland students have interviewed Merrill Lynch,J&J, etc, and some will interview Mckinsey, Citi, etc next week. Hopefully we can see more fruits next month. Start preparation ASAP. This is my only suggestion to freshs. |
