Subjects such as art, music, and drama should be a part of every child’s basic education?
As we can see, the children around us are learning more and more things like chess, art, different kinds of the instruments. It is much more than we learned during the childhood. I do argue that the children need the knowledge and skills I mentioned above, especially nowadays. In that case, to learning those subjects better, it is definitely necessary to take the subjects such as art, music, and drama as a part of child's basic education. I would like to present several opinions to confirm you that why I agree the title statement.
First of all, learning the art skill in early time really can contribute to form a outstanding character of the children. Take me for example; I learn piano and printing from my 10 years old. I really enjoyed it. During the learning process about 10 years, I became more and more easygoing and open-minded due to I always wanted to communicate with other friends who held the same habits and share feelings and methods with them. Moreover, I made a large number of friends through the learning time.
Secondly, if brought these art subjects into child's basic education, they would enrich the child's tedious study life. We can't deny that the studying load that on the child's shoulder are heavier than before. That really prevents child's active altitude towards study while reduces the learning efficiency greatly. But if child could learn the art skill in school, the situation may be entirely different. As the old saying ‘The days that make us happy make us wise.’
Lastly, let’s move o to a wider theme that the early education of these art skills could provide a significant benefit to child's studying major and working life in the future. A lot of famous actors and actress like Zhang Ziyi and Jack Chen, film directors like Steve Sperpurg, Feng Xiaogang all learned acting and film making techniques in their early time and show their outstanding talents at that time. In that case, take the subjects like art, music, and drama as child's basic education also could boost the development of our film industry and recreational industry.
There are still many others reasons that can account for my view that subjects such as art, music and drama should be a part of every child's basic education, but the obvious one have presented as above. We can draw the conclusion without hesitate that the title statement should be supported by all of us. |
