Hi! No secret sauce for scholarship application. In this intake (Dec. 08), I know quite a lot Chinese got scholarships more or less
If convenient you can call the number I leave for you in the message box Hope it helps.
One question for nnm or inseadsh or other in-school student, how can I reach fonty from CDG airport? take train at gare de lyon and get off at avon? My apartment is located in the town.

Sino, you can take metro to Gare de Lyon and then transfer to a train to get to Fontainebleau (in Gare de Lyon). However, if you have a lot of stuff with you, I'd suggest you think of taking a cab.
See you after new year.
The finals for P2 are finished. We had a super hardcore finance final but who cares. Fun time!!!
Thanks a lot! inseadsh. I am quite annoyed by the issue how to get to fonty. My flight will arrive at 5:30 pm.
Anyway I plan to take bus from Roissy CDG to gare de lyon. The landlord agrees to pick me up at the fonty station.
Since I have no SIM card in France, which one I need to buy just for one-time use (to inform the landlord which train I will take)? We'll take two big baggages and other stuffs... The first challenge for my family.
Sino, i think you probably can buy Virgin pre-pay card in CDG. It's kind of cheap (15 euros for the SIM card and 5 euros for phone calls).
Good luck to your traveling...
Btw, since most of us (nnm, stringscn...etc) will be away traveling during the Xmas vacation, we might not be able to answer your questions here on time. Please bear with us and wish everybody a Merry X'mas and a Happy New Year!
I have chosen font in my application. but after reading shaoji's post, i'm thinking whether i should stay in singapore. Although going to font can help with international exposure, it seems the sg side also got good career perspective. in terms of living expenses, sg can be half that of font's.
the question is, is it possible to make the switch before school starts? Would it be better if i give practical reasons like living expenses, or career aspiration in asia? Thanks!
