You guys really gave us pretty much useful info. about insead studying life...

Just wondering if you can say something about your career development after MBA if you do not mind ....  such as  will you back to China or work in Euro for a while ?  will you do your own business ? what is your plan ?

lesson taught by recent alumi: you can change your industry, you can change geography, you can change your job responsibilities, but never come w/ the hope of changing all three. I've been taught about this twice, guess it must be sth useful for an MBA.

Xing is right. It's not impossible for a person to change all the three categories at one time, but the chance is very very small.

About job placement after graduation, Chinese students here do have different thoughts and it's quite hard to make everything clear at this moment. According to historical data, some people stayed in Europe for fast track industry programs, some others went back to Asia for I/B, consulting or industry jobs. A few found jobs in North America.

my answer to your question will not be representative because of the fact that i'm a singaporean and not from china.  working in china or in europe to me is essentially a switch in location since i was working in america previously.  has my career progressed?  not really...i decided to take a different direction with my career.  so i'm in the transition stage, which hopefully will transition me to a different career.  as to what that is, i have no idea right now, but i'm intend of experiencing some industries other than IT.
