151 What is the most important animal in your country? Why is the animal important? Use reasons and specific details to explain your answer.

When it comes to the most important animal in my country China, a lot of people may say panda. In my opinion, however, I consider dogs as the most important animals in my home country.

 

First of all, dogs has long been considered important guards of many families in the rural areas, areas occupy a large part of China's territorial. Most of the farmers possess one or more dogs at home, because they think dogs can protect their belongings and their safety. They usually let the dogs sit in the middle of the courtyard, and hope that the dogs can bark so that they will be aware of the existence of strangers. There are numerous examples showing that dogs did act bravely when thieves or robbers broke into their owner's houses. This method has been proved to be useful for a long time, and, consequently, farmers began to treat dogs as an indispensable part of their family. In other words, farmers and dogs has built up close relationship with the development of rural areas.

 

Secondly, people in urban areas also become increasingly fond of dogs. They do not consider dogs to be guard of the family; however, they treat dogs as pets. Many families purchase dogs from the market, dress them up, and spend much time with them as if dogs are their intimate family members. Dog's loyal appearance, lovely figure and even naughty behaviors can be attractions to urban families, especially those city children who do not have friends to play with in their spare time. Parents, on the other hand, are willing to cultivate their children's ability to care, to share and, most importantly, to love. The marriage of these two considerations, thus, brings about the popularity of dogs in urban areas. I once received two dogs as birthday presents, and by spending a lot of time together, I developed deep friendship with them. That experience has been proved later to be of great help for me to formulate my attitude to care about and help others.

 

Given the fact that dogs are important to people of both the rural and urban areas, I tend to believe that dogs are really playing an essential role in China. Therefore, I come to the conclusion that dogs are the most important animal in my country.

 

第一次在规定时间内写完的文章，这是写得第4篇，还有6篇要完成。虽然还是只有写385个字，已经有所进步了。非常希望德克版主可以腾出一点时间提些宝贵建议，作文始终弱项，9.8号考，很希望可以有所提高。
