      Some historians contend that con-

       ditions in the United States during the

       Second World War gave rise to a

Line       dynamic wartime alliance between

这里作者并没有指出谁对,也没有说自己支持哪一方观点

只是说“史实不能被简化为单一的某一方观点”

 

第二段就是从这句承接下去的,正因为两种观点所提到的问题都存在,所以才有下面所讲的unions’s dilemma (我也没看太清下面在讲什么,不过作者在二段也没给出明确的自己的观点)

文章中确实没有作者自己的观点,只是提供一个上下文让读者自己去衡量,他在一段也说了historical reality is not reducible to one or the other

B.      identifying a flawed assumption underlying one interpretation of a historical phenomenon

C.     assessing the merits and weaknesses of a controversial theory about a historical phenomenon

D.     discussing the historical importance of the development of a wartime alliance

E.      evaluating evidence used to support a particular interpretation of a historical phenomenon

E的意思是:评价“用来支持对一个历史现象的某一个独到见解的论据”

a particular interpretation? 原文没有,所以错

实在不明白A~~~~~~

被同学这么一分析,我终于懂类~~~~
这篇文章的第一段我看的很明白,但看了第二段以后,人就昏了,不知道第二段在说什么,我只知道第二段在讲一个历史现象.
一对比,发现自己做阅读的水平还很不够......

但是D错在哪呢?

我认为
        
二战期间两派学者的讨论的确是着重在这次历史事件是否影响组织的发展方向

不是么?

作者提出组织可能面临的问题
        
所以两派学者的理论都不能完全解释这历史真实的现象

因为一芳提倡理想
        
但是还是维护自己利益
        

面临维持战前状态
        
或是为组织所有人谋取各种权力

I choose D also...  feel that A MIGHT be more suitable to describe the passage, but i also don't know what's wrong with D, besides, i think D is not a minor point that we should ignore.

我来分析一下啊:

B中 a flowed assumption文中没有说阿, 文中只讲了两个不可协调的argument

C 中,merit and weakness 文中没有说

D中 Historical importance 好像也没有讲到。

E只讲到了二段内容,忽略了一段阿

这题我一开始也是选D.....

看完讲解之后

觉得这题其实很不好作

但用排除法就好多了............

像文章没有带入作者态度的很像都不太好作.......

就像这边的evaluation 

之前补习班老师都教说evaluate就是有positive和negative的态度

可是这边作者又没有进来

就很难一开始就觉得A是对的.......
