答案是C，我想问E为什么不对啊~！因为我一看见THERE BE，就觉得这个不是优选项，看到E又觉得谓语单复数用的很好，AS...AS用的也没有错，所以选得E。

另外我觉得C的be动词一个是is,一个是are，又没有明确的指出两者的主语，所以有表达不清的嫌疑~！

本人比较弱，希望大家不要因为看到弱智问题就闪了~谢谢~！

此题是主谓宾全的状语比较结构

(C) there is
            now
            one microcomputer for every thirty-two pupils, four times as many as there were four years ago.

==》 省略了相同的宾语，比较时间状语。结构非常对称。

(E) every thirty-two pupils now has one microcomputer, four times as many as four years ago

==》前面同样是完整的主谓宾结构，后面的句子主谓宾完全省略。造成歧义，four times 到底是主语every thirty-two pupils发出的（那么意思就是every 4 pupils has one microcomputer) 还是宾语的（那么意思就是 every thirty-two pupils  has 1/4 microcomputer)

１．为什么要用＂there　is．．．＂这个句型？可不可以不用？

２．＂four times as many as there were　four years ago＂在句中什么成分？

为什么前面是is，后面是were？现在是每３２个学生１台电脑，４年前是现在数字的１／４即每３２个学生１／４台电脑或每１２８个学生１台电脑．为什么后面还要用were？？？

想不通一直？
