1. do you agree or disagree "to acheieve success, knowledge learned through study is more important than the ability of creative".
Most people will agree that to achieve success in traditional industry such as FMCG, it is really important to know the basic rules of the market. All those rules should be learned through study. While to achieve success in IT & high technology industry, it seems more important to innovate. All innovations are mostly count on people's abilities of creative. In my opinion, to achieve success, to get knowledge through study is always more important than the ablity of creative. In the first place, I believe that to learn basic knowledge is the first step toward innovation. It is hard to imagine that a person who does not know any basic knowledge can have great ability to create. For example, if somebody wants to create a new type of bicycle which is lighter and quicker than all the current bicycles, he must know how to design a traditional bicycle first. If somebody want to design a software to easy the work load of accountants, he must learn what kind of works those accountants do. Creative should be based on the actual knowledge, which can be acquired only by study. Another reason why I believe to study and get knowledge is more important for success is that the creative ability is not the only way to success. The knowledge, in contrast, can secure the success in certain level. In traditional industry, for example, learned knowledge and well organized operation is the key to success. There are limited spaces to improve traditional business, say, packaged water business. I am working for a beverage company. The main product of my company is pure water. My company have no technology advantage than other plants but it is one of the biggest in the world. The key of the success is that my company has larger sales networks and lower price. The coverage of the sales network is growing through business expansion and the price is decreasing through mass produce. Both required learned knowledge instead of the ability of creative. The capability was built up through long time devoted working and knowledge accumulation.
I acknowledged that the ability of creative will enable people to invent new product or improve the current ones and the new product may bring successful business. The learned knowledge is the basic of those innovations and thus more important.
