第一次写作文，花了太长时间，一个半小时，请各位帮我改一下

1.People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

  Why people attend college ?there are many reasons,such as learning knowledge,gaining experiences,make new friends and so on.but in my point of view,the most important reason of atending college is that it will promise us a better future

   Firstly ,we will learn a large amoune of knowledge  which is in different field in depth.there are a lot of good teachers and profesors in the college and they teach us the subject they have reseached for several years.so the knowledge we gain in the four-year-study in college is vast wealth accumulated in centuries.we can know not only what has happened in the past severalyears but what will probably happen next. with what we have learned we are able to decideWhat kind of lifewe will live and we will be more competent to find a ideal job after graduate

Secondly, apart from knowledge, we also can learn the method which is more important to solve the problems we meet in the future.with knowledge we know what it is but with method we will be able to know how it comes into being.for example, in chenmical classes , we know what are  chemicals and chemical reaction,we also know how to operate a chemical experiment,but why an experiment is done in the very specific way ?why other ways can not be used? We must find the mechanism,how to find it?method!.when we know the the method we will be able to grasp a series konwledge most of which can not be seen in the text book.so ,in the future work and life ,we are able to solve problems more suficiently and become more successful.

 Last but not the least ,we can make a lot of friends in college with whose help we can lead a happy and successful life. A friend is a treature .they can give us a hand when we are in trouble and,they are the ones who know us so much that can pick out our disadvantages in us which we do not realise ourselfs.after gruduate,they will work in different polaces and engage in different careers,and they are able to sovle different problems for us when we are in trouble.furthermore ,it is amazing when we go to a strange place for bussiness or other thing and an old friend is waiting for us on the airport.

  All in all, there are so many reasons people attend college,no matter what reasons they hold,the utimate purpuse is that with the knowledge they learned,method they gained and friends they made ,they will live a better life in the future.

很标准的作文一篇啊~

感觉还不错吧，不知道大NN们怎么看，我觉得还可以|||不过开头段一定要写漂亮了，结尾段没时间改就算了，但是开头段如果写不漂亮我觉得评委老师是不会喜欢看的（一家之言，还请NN们拍砖）。

建议LZ多看看漂亮文章的开头，尽量写出一些漂亮的能够吸引人的东西来。另外，多看看像德克的猪等大牛们的总结的写作帖子，在词汇和复杂句型结构上做文章。平时多读读国外的文章，分析分析句子，然后把那些漂亮句子的结构用到自己文章上，是能增色不少的哦~

LZ一定要在速度上下功夫了……不过速度这个问题还是比较好解决的，现在质量的突破是第一位的！

Just yesterday, I read an investigation in the news paper, which demonstrated that 80% people who never went to university  in China could not find a job. So attending college and university is really important, especially for the people who want to accept professional education so as to find a good job. Of course, there are many other reasons for people to go to college or university, such as gaining knowledge, knowing more friends and so on.
