我觉得B不对，因为说它respond immediately to direction changes 说明它的视力很好。而后半句pause equally frenquently 等后面的话，就说明了他不是不可以maintain它的pace的，所以说两个理论都被否定。与题目要求不一样

假设一: Perhaps they cannot maintain their pace and must pause for a moment's rest (因为无法维持速度所以需要片刻休息以继续追赶)

 

假设二: An alternative hypothesis is that while running tiger beetles are unable to process the resulting rapidly changing visual information, and so quickly go blind and stop. (无法处理移动中的视觉景象，所以变盲)
