about "leadership potential"

Some B Schools emphasize leadership potential, as you can see the top admission creteria of HBS:

My question is, if I want to go back to B Schools after working for 2 years, I need to submit my applications 1 year after starting working and I could seldom have any chance to perform as a "leader". How do you guys try to work out this problem??

You should be able to demonstrate that through your professional work (you may want to consider getting a few more years of experience), volunteer work, and even personal life.  Good luck!
